The Challenge
Cartly's monolithic Shopify-based setup couldn't support the custom checkout flows and multi-brand storefronts their growth plan required.

The Solution
We built a headless commerce engine on Next.js with a Node.js commerce API, decoupling storefront presentation from inventory and order management.
Edge caching and image optimization brought largest contentful paint under 1.2 seconds across all 30 storefronts.
A shared component library let Cartly's team spin up new branded storefronts in days instead of months.
